ANNA Pancakes is Utrecht’s pancake and Dutch pancake restaurant and the perfect place for breakfast, lunch, all day brunch and high tea. Across our locations in Utrecht you can enjoy fluffy sweet and savory pancakes & Dutch pancakes, Italian artisanal schiacciata bread, French toast, eggs and fresh avocado dishes. We also serve delicious cakes, sweet brunch classics and a special kids menu. Alongside our food you’ll find specialty coffee, homemade lemonades & iced tea, fresh juices and ceremonial matcha. Everything is prepared with fresh ingredients and we offer many vegetarian, vegan, lactose free and gluten free options. Lichte Gaard
Our cozy location in a beautiful 16th century building in the historic center of Utrecht, next to the Dom Tower and the canals of the Oude Gracht. Here you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and all day brunch in a warm and intimate atmosphere. This location is alcohol free and does not offer high tea, a terrace or a kids corner.

Vredenburg
Our spacious and lively location next to the main exit of Hoog Catharijne and close to Utrecht Central Station. Perfect for brunch while shopping or after arriving in the city. This location has a terrace and a kids corner with TV where children can play while parents relax.

Voor Clarenburg
A stylish location next to Hoog Catharijne with a pure and natural interior. A great place for a relaxed brunch in the center of Utrecht. This location also offers a terrace and a kids corner with TV.

Berlijnplein – Leidsche Rijn
Our largest location next to Pathé Leidsche Rijn cinema. In addition to breakfast, lunch and brunch, you can also visit in the evening for burgers & pancakes. The location features a large terrace and a kids corner with a small play house, making it ideal for families.

OUR HI(STORY)

It all started in 1988 on a snowy Lithuanian day in Anna’s mom’s kitchen

 

Anna was already a big fan of her mom’s fluffy pancakes at the age of 3. Every week her mother treated her to a delicious pancake topped with fresh strawberries and wild blueberries she had collected from the woods nearby. She topped them with creamy crème fraîche and some biscuits to finish it off.

 

Now, years later, Anna recreated her childhood pancakes with the help of her mother’s recipe. Her mom’s dish is now the bestseller at Anna Pancakes and is called the Blueberry Heaven!

 

With Anna’s outstanding cooking skills, great creativity and a big eye for detail, she now bakes the tastiest pancakes in Utrecht and surrounding areas.
